The American Society of Digestive Disease Interventions is committed to providing targeted education and training for the next generation of interventional radiologists, including medical students, residents, and fellows. The Annual meeting lecture topics are designed in scope and content to be well suited for both trainees and practicing interventional radiologists alike. Registration is free for trainees and there are opportunities for travel scholarships for trainees in the US and internationally. Trainees are also invited to submit abstracts for a chance to win the Sydney Wallace Best Abstract Award for a cash prize. In addition, sponsored events are arranged specifically for trainees, to enrich their education and provide social opportunities for networking with other trainees as well as practicing interventional radiologists.
